麻花星空视频-IIT inks MOU with visionary tech startups聽

麻花星空视频-IIT expands its network in the realm of research, innovation, and transformative solutions by signing a Memorandum of Agreement on March 27, 2025 with two tech startups–Briyo Energy Incorporated (Philippines) and Galaxeer Space Consultancy LLC—aimed at collaborating for knowledge exchange to address various issues.

Held at the PRISM Conference Room, the signing ceremony was attended by 麻花星空视频-IIT representatives led by Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan and the startups’ leaders and members.

Briyo Energy Incorporated is a startup that aims to develop economically friendly wind and hydro turbines in communities, while Galaxeer Space Consultancy LLC (UAE) focuses on AI/Data Science and EdTech projects that promote space science and knowledge.

As 麻花星空视频-IIT participates in more academic-industrial linkages, the university is set to act on the following cooperative activities: conduct research within the renewable energy sector, coordinate faculty and student mobility for research, industry experience, study, and on-the-job training, and other activities involving the advancement of renewable energy in Iligan City.

The College of Computer Studies is at the forefront of this partnership, exemplified in the message of support from its dean, Prof. Rabby Lavilles.

“For CCS, this is an opportunity for another collaboration in the industry for us to establish our industry-oriented research and our academic promises,” the dean said during his opening remarks.

“We have a lot of potential for collaboration with space technology-related and energy-related sectors for many of the CCS applications. So I hope this will be a starting point for capacity building of CCS and the industry partners, and not just CCS, but also the other colleges,” he added.

Founder and CEO of Galaxeer Space Consultancy LLC (UAE), Engr. Lance Kosca delivered a message expressing his gratitude and anticipation for this collaboration. “I do hope and I do believe that this will create value for Iligan City in itself,” he said.

“This MOU signing is a seal, is a promise towards sharing in that vision [for the future] with everyone here in helping create our own slice in the so-called collective pie everyone’s baking,” said the Chief Strategy Officer of Briyo Energy Inc., Mr. Robert Martin Reyes.

The Chancellor also shared his appreciation for this partnership and emphasized that the guests' presence and knowledge, which they will transmit in their future activities, will inspire the students of 麻花星空视频-IIT. He also underscored that this will highlight the importance of technology transfer from industry to the academe in preparing students for the real world and the future.
